EP Chamber Government Nominating Committee Endorses Willey

Encouraging and assisting members of the business community to actively participate in the election process

The Eden Prairie Chamber Government Nominating Committee, an independent group of area business leaders, announced its endorsement of Robert Willey for EP School Board:

The group's endorsement is focused on a number of criteria including that the candidate is:

Supportive of views shared by the general business community
Knowledgeable about issues important to the Eden Prairie business community
Proven him/herself to be a leader in the community

Robert Willey brings extensive business knowledge and fresh ideas in a time when the district is facing budget shortfalls. He is focused on finding and utilizing best practices in educating our youth and future workforce and at the same time being accountable for the dollars spent on education. In addition, he wants to engage businesses and include all stakeholders in key policy issues and have our schools be transparent. He wants to strive for the schools to have and keep the best teachers. One of his key items he brings to the table is his focus on the kids' skills and what they need to know so they are ready for the future challenges in the business world.

We encourage residents to vote for Robert Willey.
