Why am I running? I began attending school board meetings and realized that the board was not as focused as I would have liked, was not holding the administration accountable enough, was lacking transparency - specifically on performance related issues, and was focused on the measuring the wrong things.

I believe I can help the board increase focus on becoming as high a performer as our adjacent districts, holding itself/myself and the administration more accountable, increasing dialogue (vs. monologue) with the community, and deliverying results (vs. effort).
